Rev. Steven T. Mack is a pastor, nonprofit executive, and community leader whose life and work are dedicated to helping people, organizations, and communities become all they were created to be.
Since 2015, Rev. Mack has served as the Senior Pastor of Little Rock Baptist Church in Camden, New Jersey, where he is committed to leading people into a growing relationship with God through worship, discipleship, service, and community engagement. Under his leadership, the church has experienced both spiritual and numerical growth while deepening its commitment to serving the broader Camden community.
Believing that faith is most powerful when it is put into action, Rev. Mack launched Project 856, a ministry initiative designed to address practical needs throughout the region. Through partnerships with schools, shelters, nursing homes, and community organizations, Project 856 has provided educational resources, supported vulnerable populations, and demonstrated the love of Christ through tangible acts of service.
Beyond the pulpit, Rev. Mack has built a respected career in nonprofit leadership, communications, human resources, and organizational development. His professional experience spans strategic planning, workforce development, operations, community engagement, and executive leadership. Drawing from both faith-based and executive leadership experience, he brings a unique ability to bridge the worlds of ministry, nonprofit leadership, and community development. Throughout his career, he has worked alongside boards, executives, government agencies, faith communities, and grassroots organizations to strengthen institutions and expand their capacity to serve others effectively.
His commitment to community extends beyond his professional and pastoral responsibilities. Rev. Mack serves on the Board of Directors of the Camden Community Partnership, helping to advance initiatives that promote neighborhood revitalization, economic development, and quality of life throughout the City of Camden. He is also actively engaged in collaborative efforts that strengthen neighborhoods, expand opportunity, and improve outcomes for residents across the region.
Known for his thoughtful leadership, practical preaching, and collaborative approach, Rev. Mack believes that meaningful progress occurs when people work together around a shared vision and common purpose. Whether serving as a pastor, executive, board member, mentor, or community advocate, he is passionate about helping individuals and organizations reach their fullest potential while creating lasting impact.
A graduate of Penn State University, Rev. Mack is a devoted father to his daughter, Savannah. His leadership is grounded in the belief that growth is a lifelong journey and that our greatest potential is often found just beyond our present circumstances. This conviction continues to shape his ministry, inform his leadership, and inspire his commitment to building stronger people, stronger institutions, and stronger communities.
